Managing your hosting service
Find your hosting in the client area, open your control panel, and manage renewals and upgrades.
On this page
Your hosting plans are in the client area (opens in a new tab), under Products & Services, together with your domains and other services. Open a plan there to see its details and manage it.
Your control panel
You manage the hosting itself in its control panel, which you reach from the plan’s page under Products & Services. From the control panel you manage your websites, email accounts, databases, DNS records, backups and one-click app installs, and you can switch the PHP version of each website.
Each website you create also gets its own SSH access, for when you would rather work from the command line.
Just ordered?
A new plan takes a little while to set up. A managed VPS is usually ready within about an hour of your order, and we email you as soon as it is.
Renewals and invoices
Your hosting renews automatically at the end of each billing period while auto-renew is on. To change that, open the plan under Products & Services, go to its Settings tab and press Turn off auto-renew (or Turn on auto-renew). With auto-renew off, the plan runs until the end of the period you have paid for. See Turning auto-renew on or off, which works the same way for every service.
Your invoices, paid and unpaid, are under Invoices in the client area.
Upgrade your plan
Need more room? Open a support ticket (opens in a new tab) or email us, and we will move you to a bigger plan. Your websites, files and email stay where they are, so nothing needs rebuilding.
Connect a domain
To use a domain with your hosting, point it at Dotweb’s nameservers. See Nameservers explained. Need a hand? Open a support ticket (opens in a new tab) and we will guide you.
