Managing your domains
Find your domains in the client area, control auto-renew, and manage nameservers, locks and authorization codes.
On this page
All of your domains are in the client area (opens in a new tab), under Products & Services, together with your other services.
Open a domain
Sign in to the client area, open Products & Services and choose the domain. From its page you can:
- Update its nameservers.
- Lock or unlock it. A locked domain can’t be transferred away without your approval.
- Get its authorization code (EPP code), if you want to move it to another registrar.
- Turn auto-renew on or off.
Turn auto-renew on or off
Auto-renew is on the domain’s Settings tab. With it off, the domain runs until the end of its paid period, and you renew it yourself before then. For step by step instructions, see Turning auto-renew on or off for a domain.
Change nameservers
You can update your nameservers yourself from the domain’s page. See Changing your nameservers for step by step instructions, or Nameservers explained to learn how nameservers work.
Change contact details
To update the contact details on a domain, open a support ticket (opens in a new tab) and our team will help you.
Move a domain away
If you ever move a domain to another registrar, you need its authorization code. See Transferring a domain away from Dotweb.
